Dubai Financial Market
The DFMGI rose 0.4% to 4297 in late trading after a depressing start. Turnover of AED 354m dhs was relatively light, with just 4 stocks falling, 3 unchanged, and 14 rising.
GULFNAV and Amlak Finance Company (AMLAK) rose 3.1% to 1.34 and 3.37 respectively. DFM shares were up 2% to 3.00, AIRARABIA was up 1.6% to 1.29, and Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) was up 1.4% to 10.95 from just 60m dhs worth of trades.
National Bank of Dubai (NBD) was down by 2.3% to 8.89, Emirates Bank International Group (EBI) down 1.1% to 9.25 and Shuaa Capital PJSC (SHUAA) fell just 0.4% to 5.00.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index was down just over a point, or 0.04%, to 3505 from decent enough turnover of 668m dhs.
Dana Gas PJSC (DANA) had a good day with a 3% rise to 1.71 and 129m dhs worth of trades, ARKAN and Ras Al Khaimah Properties PJSC (RAKPROP) also busy but up just one fil each to 1.72 and 1.69 respectively. Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) rose 1.4% and the remaining rises were on few trades or amounts less than 1%.
Falls of 2.3% to 19.25 for National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), 0.8% to 17.55 for Emirates Telecommunications Company (ETISALAT), and otherwise less than 1% or on thin trading.
Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR) was the most actively traded stock today on turnover, falling by just 0.3% to 6.83 and 185m dhs worth of deals. Oasis International Leasing Company PJSC (OILC) took a breather after yesterday's big day and closed flat on much reduced volume.
