Arabtec (ARTC) (+0.34%), Dubai Financial Market (DFM) (-0.55%), and Air Arabia (AIRARABIA) (+5.0%) all traded more than AED 100m worth, and Air Arabia was the best gainer of the day. Dar Takaful Insurance (DARTAKAFUL) rose 4.6%, TAKATUL-EM and Arab International Logistics (ARMX) rose 1.2%, Drake & Scull (DSI) rose 1.1%, and the remaining gainers rose less than 1% or on low volumes. Deyaar Development (DEYAAR), Dubai Investment Company (DIC), Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV), National General Cooling (TABREED), and Shuaa Capital (SHUAA) all closed unchanged. Of the 5 losers, Ajman Islamic Bank (AJMANBANK) was the worst on active trading with a 2.6% fall. Islamic Arab Insurance (IAIC), Dubai Islamic Insurance (AMAN) both fell 0.76%, and Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance (DNIR) fell 4.6% on a single trade. Abu Dhabi Securities ExchangeDana Gas (DANA) was the most active stock in Abu Dhabi and the only one trading more than AED 100m worth with AED 138m worth of deals. It was also the best of the more active gainers with a 5.9% rise to 1.22. Aabar Energy (AABAR) rose 5.1%, Agthia Group (AGTHIA) 4.1%, Ras Al Khaimah Properties (RAKPROP) 2.6%, Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) 2.4%, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) 2.05%, Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 2.0%, and the remaining gainers were up less than 2% or on low volumes. First Gulf Bank (FGB) was the worst of the more active losers with a 4.8% fall to 16.00, Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (JULPHAR) fell 1.3%, and the other losers were down less than 1% or on low volumes. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) fell 0.49% and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) fell 0.72%. | |
