UAE market news & discussions for 09 September 2007 Both UAE markets declined today. The DFM index finished at 4,190 a fall of 1.11% and the ADSM index at 3,423 a fall of 0.25%. DEYAAR was the top traded stock on the DFM falling 2.68% to 1.81 dirhams on huge turnover of 223 million shares. OILC was the top traded stock on the ADSM falling 0.57% to 1.73 dirhams on turnover of 27 million shares.

Dubai Financial Market

The DFM index finished today at 4,190 a fall of 1.11% from the previous close. 354 million shares traded worth 949 million dirhams. Three shares advanced and eighteen declined.
The top traded share was DEYAAR falling 2.68% to 1.81 dirhams on masive volume of 223 million shares traded.

Other shares to fall included: AIRARABIA 1.20 (0.82%), DFM 3.05 (0.65%), Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) 10.55 (2.3%) and GULFNAV 1.26 (0.78%).

Shares to increase included: Union Properties PJSC (UPP) 3.20 (0.31%) and National Bank of Dubai (NBD) 9.06 (0.55%), IIG 6.10 (7.1%) on very low volumes.

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

The ADSM index finished today at 3, 423 a fall of 0.25% from the previous close. 84 million shares traded worth 265 million dirhams. Eight shares advanced and twenty six declined.
Oasis International Leasing Company PJSC (OILC) was the top traded share falling 0.57% to 1.73 dirhams on volume of 27 million shares traded.

Other shares to fall included: Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR) 6.83 (1.01%), ARKAN 1.70 (1.16%) and Dana Gas PJSC (DANA) 1.60 (1.23%)

Shares to rise included: Bank Of Sharjah (BOS) 3.04 (3.05%), First Gulf Bank (FGB) 13.95 (1.09%) and Gulf Cement Company (GCEM) 6.54 (2.35%)
