Dubai Financial Market

DFM rose to 4172 points on reduced volumes of 470m dhs from yesterday. Biggest rise worth taking any notice of was National General Cooling Company PJSC (TABREED), up 2.73% after late release of results showing a big increase in profit from an unknown source. National Bank of Dubai (NBD) had a 5% rise to 10.35.

NCC fell almost 5% but none of the important stocks fell more than 1% by the end of the session.

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

ADSM is stuck under the 3000 point level with another down day - dropping 0.3% to 2954 points.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) was the best of the gainers worth looking at with a 1.4% rise to 5.99. National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) was up 0.9% but none of any of the other more active stocks had an increase today. QCEM took the top spot with just a single trade.

Aabar Petroleum Investments Company PJSC (AABAR) the worst of the active stocks with a 3.6% fall - oilfields in Asia don't seem to be popular with shareholders, Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) not too good either with a 3.2% fall and Dana Gas PJSC (DANA) down 2.2% making it a bad day for energy related companies all round. The rest of the active shares fell less than 2%. Worst fall of 10% from NBQ from just one trade - but that's two days in a row it's dropped 10%.
