Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index fell only 0.5% to 4146 points with low volumes of 404m dhs, half of that from trading in GULFNAV shares, but price fell a nasty 4.5%, while Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) price didn't change on volumes of only 122m dhs. Not much excitement otherwise on DFM with most stocks falling slightly, only Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (DU) and Union Properties PJSC (UPP) out of the actively traded list rising less than 1% each.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
ADSM barely moved with a drop of less than a point to 2959 on increased volumes of 132m dhs. Aabar Petroleum Investments Company PJSC (AABAR) with a gain of 3.6% and 23m dhs worth of trading took the limelight today. ARKAN also busy on 26m dhs worth but no change in price.
ADNIC traded 10m dhs worth at an unchanged 8.50 dhs. Extraodinary volumes for a share that rarely trades at all. First Gulf Bank (FGB) another more active than normal share (although that seems to be happening a lot now) with a 0.4% rise.
Most other actively traded shares showed small price movements of less than 1%.
