DFM lost half a percent today on higher volume of 832m dhs, while ADSM gained half a percent on moderate volume of 77m dhs but the ADSM index is still stuck below 3000 points.

Not many company results out today, the large number that haven't yet filed have been given a two week reprieve from ESCA. QTEL released their results, and IAIC re-released their results to clarify yesterday's unusual Operating Profit figures.

Dubai Financial Market

Amlak Finance Company (AMLAK) got a heavy hit yet again today, dropping 5.4% but volumes were a little lower to 63m dhs. Aramex PJSC (ARMX) was another one that's falling (so to speak) out of favor with a 3.5% fall, and similar drops for National General Cooling Company PJSC (TABREED) and IAIC. Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) fell only 0.8% to close at 12.90 Worst fall was AMAN with a drop of 8.5%.

Not many rises on DFM today. The largest, from very few trades was National Bank of Dubai (NBD). Arabtec Holding PJSC (ARTC) was the only one of the actively traded stocks to increase, by less than 1%.

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) traded the most volume on ADSM today, with a 2.2% rise to 1.87. Other active stocks with small rises of less than 2% were Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR), ARKAN, Sudan Telecom Company Ltd (SUDATEL), Ras Al Khaimah Properties PJSC (RAKPROP), and Emirates Telecommunications Company (ETISALAT). Dana Gas PJSC (DANA) was up 2.2%, and First Gulf Bank (FGB) trading much more once again, with a 2.4% rise to 12.95. Biggest rise for Finance House PJSC (FH) came from just a single trade.

Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) and Aabar Petroleum Investments Company PJSC (AABAR) were the only actively traded stocks to fall, Sorouh down by 0.4% and Aabar down by 1.7% - the market not seeming to like Aabar's news about another oilfield in Thailand. NBQ had the distinction of the biggest fall - 10% from just one trade.
