On the Nasdaq Dubai at 1430 UAE time, DP World is down 1.7%, Damas is unchanged, Depa is down 2.7%, and a handful of derivatives have traded, all in the red. Dubai Financial Market (DFM) was also busy with AED 342m worth of trading and a 0.37% fall to 2.67.Arabtec (ARTC) was the only other stock trading more than AED 100m, and fell 1.1% to 3.67. Gulf Finance House (GFH) and Al Madina Finance (ALMADINA) closed 10% limit down, Dubai Islamic Insurance (AMAN) and National General Cooling (TABREED) fell 3.5%, Deyaar Development (DEYAAR) was down 3.3%, Arab International Logistics (ARMX) 2.6%, Air Arabia (AIRARABIA) 2.5%, Islamic Arab Insurance (IAIC) 2.1%, and most other actively traded stocks fell less than 2%. Union Properties (UPP) and Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV) were unchanged, and there were only 3 gainers, including Emirates NBD (ENBD) up 0.45%, but none trading more than AED 1m. Abu Dhabi Securities ExchangeAldar Properties (ALDAR) was the most active stock in Abu Dhabi, and the only one with volumes of more than AED 100m with AED 112m worth of deals as it rose slightly by 0.31% to 6.53. Arkan Building Materials (ARKAN) was the best gainer, 10% limit up at 3.77, Bank of Sharjah (BOS) rose 2.0%, Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) 1.2%, and the remaining gainers were up less than 1% or on low volumes. Green Crescent Insurance (GCIC) was the worst loser on trading of more than AED 1m, falling 1.5% to 1.32. Methaq Islamic Insurance (METHAQ) fell 1.3%, Ras Al Khaimah Properties (RAKPROP) 1.15%, and the remaining losers were down less than 1% or on low trading levels. | |
