UAE market news & discussions for 10 February 2009A good days trading on UAE markets today as both indicies closed in positive territory. The DFM index closed 1.61% higher at 1,463 with 447 million shares traded worth Dh506 million. ARTC and DFM lead the trading both closing limit up. They were closely followed by AJMANBANK up 12% and EMAAR up 4.0%. TABREED, GULFNAV, DEYAAR and ARAMEX also closed up over 4.0%. The ADX index closed 0.64% higher at 2,213 with123 million shares traded worth Dh246 million. Banking stocks were all lower BOS off 8.0%, ADCB down 2.68% and FGB down 3.12%. Realestate were strong ALDAR up 6.54% and SOROUH up 5.0%. In construction ARKAN up 8.4% and RAKCC up 5.22% stood out. For Telecoms, ETISALAT closed 1.85% higher.
