Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,443 a rise of 0.70% from the previous close. 213 million shares were traded worth 791 million dirhams. Nineteen shares advanced and seven declined.
The top traded share was AJMANBANK closing steady on 2.40 dirhams on turnover of 33 million shares.
Other shares to close unchanged included: DFM 5.09 and Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 10.85.
Shares to rise included: AIRARABIA 1.83 (0.54%), DEYAAR 2.06 (1.47%), GULFNAV 1.64 (1.23%), Tamweel (TAMWEEL) 8.40 (6.32%) and Union Properties (UPP) 5.16 (2.99%).
Shares to fall included: Dubai Investments (DIC) 3.77 (0.78%) and Islamic Arab Insurance (IAIC) 3.03 (0.65%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index closed at 4,953 a rise of 1.01% from the previous close. 389 million shares were traded worth 1.9 billion dirhams. Thirty one shares advanced and eight declined.
The top traded share was RAK Cement (RAKCC) rising 4.07% to 3.84 dirhams on turnover of 124 million shares. Thsi was closely followed by METHAQ rising 6.17% to 6.54 dirhams on turnover of 105 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: First Gulf Bank (FGB) 26.70 (1.14%), Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 12.55 (1.21%), Dana Gas (DANA) 1.92 (2.67%), and ARKAN 6.25 (1.46%).
Shares to fall included: Finance House (FH) 14.70 (2.00%) and RAKWC 2.50 (0.40%).
