UAE market news & discussions for 03 June 2008A mixed day on UAE markets today with the ADX ending 0.40% up and the DFM index closing 0.38% lower.  RAKCC continues to dominate trade rising a further 4.46% to 3.75 dirhams on huge turnover of 284 million shares.  On the DFM, AIRARABIA was the top traded share falling 0.99% to 1.99 dirhams.  |

Dubai Financial Market
The DFM closed at 5,790 a fall of 0.38% from the previoous close.  336 million shares were traded worth 1.4 billion dirhams.  Five shares advanced and twenty declined.
 The top traded share was AIRARABIA falling 0.99% to 1.99 dirhams on turnover of 48 million shares.
 
 Other shares to fall included: Amlak Finance (AMLAK) 5.09 (1.16%), GULFNAV 1.85 (2.11%), ARAMEX 2.73 (0.36%), Du Telecom (DU) 3.90 (1.10%) and Tamweel (TAMWEEL) 8.49 (0.11%).
 
 Shares to rise included: Arabtec (ARTC) 16.60 (0.91%), Du Telecom (DU) 6.15 (2.67%) and Islamic Arab Insurance (IAIC) 3.48 (0.28%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADX closed at 5,113 a rise of 0.40% from the previous close.  484 million shares were traded worth 1.9 billion dirhams.  Twenty five shares advanced and seventeen declined.
 The top traded share was RAK Cement (RAKCC) rising 4.46% to 3.75 dirhams on turnover of 284 million shares.
 
 Other shares to rise included: Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 3.46 (1.17%), Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 12.80 (0.79%), ARKAN 6.18 (0.16%), First Gulf Bank (FGB) 25.35 (1.20%) and Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) 3.82 (1.60%).
 
 Shares to fall included: Dana Gas (DANA) 2.09 (0.48%), METHAQ 4.10 (0.73%), RAK Properties (RAKPROP) 2.33 (0.43%) and RAK White Cement (RAKWCT) 2.77 (1.07%).
