UAE market news & discussions for 04 June 2008 Both UAE markets finished up today. The DFM index gained 0.28% to 5,807 and the ADX 0.47% to 5,137. On the DFM, DIC was the top traded share rising 2.82% to 4.01 on turnover of 48 million shares. On the ADX, RAKCC continues to dominate rising a further 1.87% to 3.82 dirhams on turnover of 112 million shares. Dubai Financial Market

The DFM index closed at 5,807 a rise of 0.28% from the previous close. 290 million shares were traded worth 1.3 billion dirhams. Sixteen shares advanced and nine declined.
The top traded share was Dubai Investments (DIC) rising 2.82% to 4.01 dirhams on turnover of 48 million shares.

Other shares to rise included: AIRARABIA 2.01 (1.00%), ARAMEX 2.76 (1.09%), DEYAAR 2.30 (0.87%), GULFNAV 1.86 (0.54%) and Tabreed (TABREED) 2.63 (2.33%).

Shares to fall included: Arabtec (ARTC) 16.50 (0.60%), Union Properties (UPP) 5.24 (0.19%), GGICO 7.78 (0.12%) and Shuaa Capital (SHUAA) 8.60 (0.23%).

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

The ADX index closed at 5,137 a rise of 0.47% from the previous close. 435 million shares were traded worth 1.6 billion dirhams. Twenty one shares advanced and fifteen declined.
The top traded share was RAK Cement (RAKCC) rising 1.87% to 3.82 dirhams on turnover of 112 million shares.

Other shares to rise included: SIB 2.99 (2.05%), WAHA 2.68 (2.29%), Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 3.54 (2.31%), Dana Gas (DANA) 2.10 (0.96%) and ARKAN closed unchanged on 3.82.

Shares to fall included: Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 9.68 (0.21%) and METHAQ 3.98 (1.95%)
