Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,859 a rise of 0.60% from the previous close. 273 million shares were traded worth 999 million dirhams. Sixteen shares advanced and six declined.
The top traded share again was Gulfnav rising 2.22% to 1.84 dirhams on turnover of 88 million shares.
Other shares to gain included: AIRARABIA 2.05 (0.98%), Amlak Finance (AMLAK) 4.98 (0.20%), DFM 6.13 (0.16%), Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 11.85 (1.28%) and DEYAAR closed unchanged at 2.37 dirhams.
Shares to fall included: Union Properties (UPP) 4.77 (0.41%), Tamweel (TAMWEEL) 7.96 (0.50%) and Arabtec (ARTC) 16.00 (0.62%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The newly named ADX index closed at 5002 a fall of 0.74% from the previous close. 153 million shares were traded worth 731 million dirhams. Fifteen shares advanced and thirty one declined.
The top traded share was ARKAN rising 1.76% to 5.21 dirhams on turnover of 40 million shares. Sudan Telecom (SUDATEL) was the only other significant gainer rising 0.68% to 8.93 dirhams.
Shares to fall inlcuded: Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 3.51 (3.84%), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) 5.81 (0.68%), Dana Gas (DANA) 2.07 (1.90%), WAHA 2.42 (3.54) and Etisalat (ETISALAT) 21.35 (0.70%).
