Dubai Financial Market
the DFM index closed at 5,815 a rise of 1.36% from the previous close. 370 million shares were traded worth 1.5 billion dirhams. Twenty shares advanced and four declined.
The top traded share was AIRARABIA rising 2.47% to 2.07 dirhams on turnover of 104 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: Amlak Finance (AMLAK) 4.95 (3.12%), DEYAAR 2.32 (3.11%), DFM 6.12 (2.17%) and Union Properties (UPP) 4.83 (4.09%), Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) 9.45 (0.63%), GULFNAV 1.67 (4.37%) and Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 11.65 (1.30%).
Shares to fall included: Shuaa Capital (SHUAA) 7.94 (0.12%), GGICO 7.72 (0.77%) and Arabtec (ARTC) 15.40 (0.64%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index closed at 5,024 a rise of 0.72% from the previous close. 162 million shares were traded worth 947 million dirhams. Thirty one shares advanced and sixteen declined.
The top traded share was Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) rising 0.60% to 3.35 dirhams on turnover of 35 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 11.90 (1.71%), Dana Gas (DANA) 2.05 (0.99%), Etisalat (ETISALAT) 21.85 (0.69%) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) 23.05 (0.66%).
Shares to fall included: Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 9.60 (0.41%) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) 6.41 (0.31%).
