Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,287 a rise of 0.85% from the previous close. 180 million shares were traded worth 646 million dirhams. Twenty shares advanced and four declined.
The top traded share was Deyaar rising 3.51% to 2.06 dirham on turnover of 31 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: DFM 4.62 (0.87%), Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 10.05 (0.50%), GULFNAV 1.63 (1.24%) and Union Properties (UPP) 5.30 (0.76%).
Shares to fall included: TAKAFUL-EM 4.22 (5.38%), AIRARABIA 1.58 (0.62%)
AJMANBANK closed steady at 3.25 dirhams.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADX index closed at 4,964 a rise of 0.60% from the previous close. 125 million shares were traded worth 990 million dirhams. Twenty five shares advanced and eighteen declined.
The top traded share by value was First Gulf Bank (FGB) rising 3.19% to 28.00 dirhams on turnover of 8.3 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: SIB 3.05 (2.69%), Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 11.80 (1.29%), Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 8.81 (0.11%) and ARKAN 6.49 (3.34%).
Shares to fall included: METHAQ 7.75 (2.64%), Etisalat (ETISALAT) 20.05 (0.25%), RAK Cement (RAKCC) 3.57 (0.83%) and Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 4.48 (0.67%).
