Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,287 a fall of 1.13% from the previous close. 200 million shares were traded worth 675 million dirhams. Six shares advanced and nineteen declined.
The top traded share was AJMANBANK falling 1.80% to 3.26 dirhams on volume of 60 million shares.
Other shares to fall included: AIRARABIA 1.62 (2.99%), Islamic Arab Insurance (IAIC) 2.81 (4.74%), DFM 4.83 (2.42%), Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 10.15 (1.45%) and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) 7.90 (1.49%).
Shares to rise included: ALSALAMBANK 2.63 (4.36% and DEYAAR 2.06 (1.47%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADX closed at 4,925 a fall of 1.42% from the previous close. 102 million shares were traded worth 563 million dirhams. Nine shares advanced and thirty four declined.
The top traded share was METHAQ rising 0.85% to 6.96 dirhams on turnover of 19 million shares.
Othr shares to rise included: NBQ 6.50 (2.54%) and UNION 4.35 (0.32%).
Shares to fall included: First Gulf Bank (FGB) 27.55 (1.79%), ARKAN 6.22 (0.32%), Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 11.90 (2.83%), Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 9.35 (2.29%).
Energy shares also fell sharply Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) down 3.75%, Dana Gas (DANA) down 2.11% and Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) down 4.45%.
