Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,617 a rise of 0.64% from the previous close. 183 million shares were traded worth 902 million dirhams. Twenty shares advanced and four declined.
The top traded share was DFM rising 2.72% to 5.66 dirhams on turnover of 43 million shares.
Other shares to rise included: AIRARABIA 1.98 (2.06%), DEYAAR 2.42 (0.83%), and Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 11.45 (0.88%).
Shares to fall included: Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) 9.99 (3.00%) and Shuaa Capital (SHUAA) 8.24 (1.55%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index closed at 4,578 a fall of 0.51% from the previous close. 118 million shares were traded worth 773 million dirhams. Nineteen shares advanced and twenty declined.
The top traded share was Aldar Properties (ALDAR) falling 0.50% to 10.05 dirhams on turnover of 38 million shares.
Other shares to fall included: Dana Gas (DANA) 2.12 (0.47%), WAHA 2.32 (2.11%), NBS 2.95 (2.64%) and Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 9.86 (0.90%).
Shares to rise included: Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 3.63 (0.55%), ARKAN 3.78 (1.34%), Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) 3.43 (1.18%) and RAK Cement (RAKCC) 2.03 (0.49%).
