UAE markets 15 Jul 2007

UAE market news & discussions for 15 July 2007 A very quiet days trading on both UAE markets today. the DFM index finished slightly higher and the ADSM index slightly lower. Dubai Financial Market released their results however, the shares finished slightly down on the day. EMAAAR set 16 July for the release of their first half results. OILC dominated trading on the ADSM finishing 1.97% higher on the day.

Dubai Financial Market

The DFM index finished todays trading at 4511 a slight rise of .10% from Thursdays close. 64 million shares traded worth 241 million dirhams. Three shares advanced and fourteen declined.

The shares that rose on the day included Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) 10.45 (1.45%), Emirates Bank International Group (EBI) 9.41 (1.18%) and GFH 9.00 (2.85%).

Shares that declined on the day included Tamweel PJSC (TAMWEEL) 4.43 (1.11%), National General Cooling Company PJSC (TABREED) 2.77 (1.07%), AMAN 26.70 (.92%), and DFM 3.26 (.91%).

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

the ADSM index finished todays trading at 3677 a slight fall of .19% from Thursdays close. 191 million shares traded worth 569 million Dirhams.
Oasis International Leasing Company PJSC (OILC) 1.55 dominated trading with 74 million shares changing hands and the stock ending up 1.97%.

Other shares to rise included Aabar Petroleum Investments Company PJSC (AABAR) 3.78 (6.09%), Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 4.56 (1.55%), ARKAN 1.73 (1.16%), Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR) 8.00 (1.15%).

Shares that declined on the day included Commercial Bank International (CBI) 2.22 (2.21%), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) 7.39 (2.61%) and Union National Bank (UNB) 8.10 (.98%).
