UAE financial news - latest news from Reuters, Bloomberg and UAE mediaDubai Financial MarketDubai stocks rose 0.56% to 1474 points from trading worth AED 54m with Emaar Properties (EMAAR) the most active stock, up 1.3% to 3.16 from AED 23m. Arabtec (ARTC), up 3.1% to 1.67, was the best of the gainers except for a handful of small trades for HITS Telecom, up 4.7%. Ektitab Holding (EKTTITAB) rose 2.9% from thin trading, Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose 2.8%, Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV) was up 2.4%, and the other gainers were up less than 2%. There were 7 losers with only Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (DU) trading more than AED 1m worth, down 0.50% to 2.01. Emirates NBD (ENBD) closed unchanged at 2.42 from thin trading. Abu Dhabi Securities ExchangeAbu Dhabi stocks rose 0.34% to 2494 points from trading worth AED 63m with Aldar Properties (ALDAR) the only stock trading more than AED 10m, up 1.4% to 2.13 from AED 27m. National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) rose 2.7% to 11.30, and was the best of the gainers except for one small trade for National Bank of Umm Al Quwain (NBQ) up 9.3%. Ras Al Khaimah Properties (RAKPROP) rose 2.6%, Agthia Group (AGTHIA) 2.1%, and the other 3 gainers rose between 1% and 2%. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) and Union National Bank (UNB) were amongst the stocks that closed unchanged for the day. Only 2 losers fell on trading worth more than AED 1m - Dana Gas (DANA) down 1.3%, and First Gulf Bank (FGB) down 0.72%. | |
