Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 5,459 an increase of 1.96% from the previous close. 555 million shares traded worth 2.7 billion dirhams. Twenty one shares advanced and three declined.
The top traded share was DEYAAR rising 1.06% to 2.85 dirhams on volume of 117 million shares. ARABTEC rose 5.04% to 8.74 dirhams on volume of 23 million shares traded.
Other shares to rise included: AIRARABIA 1.91 (1.59%), Amlak Finance (AMLAK) 4.33 (1.64%), DFM 6.58 (2.01%), Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 12.75 (2.82%), GULFNAV 1.65 (1.85%) and Tamweel (TAMWEEL) 7.10 (7.25%).
Shares to fall included: OIC 10.00 (3.84%) and Du Telecom (DU) 5.38 (1.46%) on volume of 74 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index closed at 4,267 an icrease of 2.51% from the previous close. 401 million shares traded worth 2.1 billion dirhams. Thirty shares advanced and eleven declined.
The top traded share was Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) rising 4.55% to 7.12 dirhams on volume of 83 million shares.
Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 7.78%, Oasis Leasing (OILC) 5.86% and RAK Properties (RAKPROP) 3.03% were all up on good trading volumes.
Other shares to rise included: Aabar Petroleum (AABAR) 3.85 (5.48%), ARKAN 3.23 (3.19%), Dana Gas (DANA) 2.05 (3.02%), AGTHIA 2.03 (4.64%) and Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) 3.34 (5.03%).
Shares to fall included: TKFL 5.20 (7.31%), Gulf Cement (GCEM) 6.11 (1.77%) and NBS 3.01 (0.33%) on 4.3 million shares traded.
