UAE market news & discussions for 13 May 2007 A very promising day with both ADSM and DFM rising on strong volumes. A strong trading day today on the DFM with the index finishing at 4208 an increase of 3.63%. 698 million shares changed hands worth a total of 2.7 billion dirhams.

Top gainers on strong volumes included Aramex PJSC (ARMX) 2.19 (6.31%), Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR) 11.85 (6.28%) has a deal been reached? DFM 3.23 (6.25%), National General Cooling Company PJSC (TABREED) 2.38 (6.25%), Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) 9.10 (5.94%), UNION 2.80 (5.66%) and Dubai Investments PJSC (DIC) 4.27 (5.17%)

the only share to lose ground on reasonable volume was Shuaa Capital PJSC (SHUAA) 5.08 (.39%)

Abu Dhabi Securities Market

A strong trading day on the ADSM with the index finishing at 3294 an increase of 2.42% from the previous close. 111 million shares changed hands with a value of 448 million dirhams.

Top gainers on strong volumes included Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 3.85 (4.34%), Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR) 6.34 (3.09%), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) 6.50 (2.04%), ADNH 5.02 (8.42%) and Union National Bank (UNB) 7.75 (5.73%).

Top decliners on reasonable volume included ADAVIATION 2.21 (5.56%), DRIVE 1.92 (3.52%) and Sudan Telecom Company Ltd (SUDATEL) 10.10 (1.46%)
