UAE market news & discussions for 08 July 2010 UAE stocks were up slightly with Emaar leading the way in Dubai on a reasonable gain. On the Nasdaq Dubai at 1545 UAE time, DP World is the only stock traded so far, up 3.6% to US$0.43. UAE financial news - latest news from Reuters, Bloomberg and UAE media Dubai Financial Market Dubai stocks rose 1.2% to 1500 points from trading worth AED 126m with Emaar Properties (EMAAR) the most active stock, and also the top gainer, up 3.2% to 3.22 from AED 68m. Drake & Scull (DSI) was up 1.75%, and the other gainers were up less than 1.5% or on thin trading. There were 5 losers with none trading more than AED 1m worth. Emirates NBD (ENBD) was unchanged at 2.50. Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Abu Dhabi stocks rose 0.24% to 2528 points from trading worth AED 73m with Aldar Properties (ALDAR) the most active stock, rising 0.37% to 2.70 from AED 28m worth of deals. Union National Bank (UNB) was the best of the more active gainers, up 2.1% to 2.96, Dana Gas (DANA) rose 1.4%, and Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) was the only other gainer trading more than AED 1m, up just 0.57%. There were 6 losers with only 2 trading more than AED 1m worth - Aabar Energy (AABAR) down 1.35%, and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) down 0.90%. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) was unchanged at 10.45.
