Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (DU) was the best of the more active stocks, up 4.2% to 2.23, Air Arabia (AIRARABIA) rose 2.9%, and the other gainers were up less than 2% or on thin trading. Al Madina Finance (ALMADINA) was the worst loser, down 4.5% to 0.62, Deyaar Development (DEYAAR) fell 1.6%, Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV) 1.1%, and the other losers were down less than 1% or on thin trading. Emirates NBD (ENBD) was unchanged at 2.69. Abu Dhabi Securities ExchangeAbu Dhabi stocks rose 1.0% to 2562 points from turnover of AED 197m with Aldar Properties (ALDAR) the only stock trading more than AED 100m worth, up 3.2% to 3.20 from AED 111m. Methaq Islamic Insurance (METHAQ) was the best of the more active gainers, up 5.8% to 1.43, Union National Bank (UNB) rose 4.9%, National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) 3.8%, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) 3.3%, Dana Gas (DANA) 3.0%, and the other gainers were up less than 3% or on thin trading. There were 6 losers with only Ras Al Khaimah Cement (RAKCC) trading more than AED 1m worth, down 1.3% to 0.74. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) was unchanged at 10.30. | |
