Dubai Financial Market
The DFM index closed at 6.003 today a rise of 1.20% from the previous close. 544 million shares traded worth 2.1 billion dirhams. Twenty stocks advanced and six declined.
DEYAAR was the top traded share falling 1.02% to 2.89 dirhams on volume of 229 million. AIRARABIA rose 2.03% to 2.01 dirhams on volume of 103 million shares traded.
Other shares to rise included: Amlak Finance (AMLAK) 5.28 (2.92%), ARAMEX 3.21 (5.59%), Du Telecom (DU) 7.67 (3.50%), DFM 6.31 (1.77%), Emaar Properties (EMAAR) 15.20 (2.00%), GULFNAV 1.67 (1.21%) and Shuaa Capital (SHUAA) 6.75 (3.84%).
Apart from AIRARABIA the only other share to fall on significant volume was Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) down 0.45% to 10.95 dirhams.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The ADSM index closed at 4,627 today a rise of 1.65% from the previous close. 659 million shares traded worth 2.2 billion dirhams. Thirty three stocks advanced and eleven declined.
RAK Properties (RAKPROP) was the top traded share rising 6.50% to 2.62 dirhams on volume of 250 million shares. Dana Gas (DANA) rose 5.96% to 2.31 dirhams on volume of 166 million shares traded.
Other shares to rise included: Aldar Properties (ALDAR) 12.20 (0.83%), ARKAN 3.94 (3.68%), Etisalat (ETISALAT) 23.45 (1.74%), First Gulf Bank (FGB) 22.65 (2.03%), Julphar (JULPHAR) limit up to 2.60 (9.70%) and Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) 8.81 (1.15%).
Shares to fall included: Sharjah Cement (SCIDC) 4.96 (0.80%), National Marine Dredging (NMDC) 7.82 (4.63%), EIC 8.25 (2.25%), ADAVIATION 3.24 (3.86%) and AWNIC 7.00 (6.24%)
